Mad Science Summer programs

FORMAT- All of our summer programs are offered in a full-day or 1/2 day format from 9-4pm, all week long Monday through Friday. We do not offer individual days or extended day options.

CAMP ENVIROMENT- We aspire to create an environment that is in every way safe, where encouragement, laughter, and fun are the standard. We provide 2 trained staff for every program theme and cap our programs at 15 to engender this setting. There are also 2 additional staff supervisng our program bringing our adult to child ratio to 4:1. This unique environment provides the opportunity to enrsure safety, attention and support.

UNIQUE PROGRAMMING- How do we make science fun? These are our main ingredients: interactive demonstrations, high quality equipment that's updated annually , hands-on individual & group activities, uniquely themed take-home projects, active learning games, and engaging outdoor activities. All Mad Science programs are developed by a team of professional educators, scientists, and entertainers to ensure they are accurate, educational, safe, and fun. Our Research and Development team spends years developing and testing unique curriculum that is kid tested and parent approved!

LOCATIONS- Our main location is at 1000 Pleasant Street Unit 3 in Belmont, MA. However, we do partner with several summer camps in the greater Boston area. Look for us in your local town program or request us!

 Eureka: Inventor's Camp

Inventing means curiosity! Leonardo da Vinci started as an artist and developed many scientific observations that he recorded in his notebooks over the course of his lifetime. Children learn about his many discoveries and try their hand at his experiments, from writing notes backwards, measuring human proportions, building a self-supporting arch bridge to building catapults. The budding inventors bring home their da Vinci designs and devices at the end of the day.
