Here's what everyone has to say about our school break and summer programs!

Very informative and fun! Our son learned so much during his week of camp and came home excited each day about what he'd learned and done.

Medford, MA

Friendly, kind counselors; my son came home each day excited to talk about what he learned, program offered a variety of activities and take-home creations to make.

Milton, MA

My son attended the Earth, Space & Beyond Mad Science Camp last summer and absolutely loved it! The hours were convenient for our family, and the location was close by for us. We're sending him again to a Mad Science camp this upcoming summer. These are well run camps, in our experience, and I recommend them for people looking for a fun, science based camp experience.

What are your full-day and half-day camp hours?

Our full-day camps are up to 7 hours long. Our half-day camps are 3 hours long.

Does Mad Science have a minimum enrollment requirement?

The minimum number of campers necessary to hold a camp is 12. We always give at least a week's notice if we have to cancel.

What about ratios and a maximum number of children?

If you have the space we will keep sending you Mad Scientists to lead campers through exciting science activities. We send a 2nd instructor for enrollments of 15+ and request a staff member to assist groups over 20 children.

What space and equipment expectations does Mad Science require for a camp program?

Our main activity space is usually a classroom, however a cafeteria, meeting room or library space works too. We do prefer to have access to a larger space where physical activities can be run for the children. Either a gymnasium or outdoor playground space are ideal. Parks or sport fields work too.
